Figured Walnut Bowl with a Spalted Maple Lid and a Pyrographed Celtic Knot.

A unique bowl with a lid. The bottom is made from a beautiful piece of highly figured walnut and the top is made from a piece of spalted maple. This box measures 9 inches in diameter by 5 inches tall. A celtic knot was designed and hand burned on the lid which fits in a recess on the bowl. Multiple coats of lacquer were applied to protect the wood and the embellishments. The bottom of the bowl is signed by me and also the type of wood used. This is definitely a conversation piece whether displayed on its own or a collection.

Choke Cherry Box with Lid

This is a beautiful choke cherry box with lid. Choke cherry has a very unique grain pattern, which makes this box very pleasing. Decorative patterns on the inside of the lid and bottom of box makes this box complete. This box measures 6 1/4″ by 3 1/4 “. Several coats of lacquer where added to protect and preserve the wood. I signed the bottom which also shows the type of wood used.

Apple Wood Trinket Box/Bowl with Lid

Apple Wood was used for this very elegant box with lid. Both the inside and the outside of the box are completely finished and smooth. Several beads have been turned to make the already beautiful Apple wood pop. Several coats of lacquer finish have been sprayed to preserve the wood. I signed the bottom of the bowl which also features the kind of wood used for this piece.

Maple Box with Metal Reactive Paints and Patinas

This is a piece of Maple that has been turned and hollowed out and measures 4 1/4 by 5 1/4 inches. A process using Metal Reactive Paints and Patinas was used to obtain this unique look. A Gold Patina was applied to the inside of the Box and Lid to further enhance the Metal Reactive Paints. Multiple coats of Clear UV Protection Finish was applied to protect the Patina and the Maple wood. Definitely a conversation piece.

This Choke Cherry Box measures 3 1/2 inches by 5 inches tall. Both the lid and base of the box are made from one piece of wood to give that pleasing and matching grain. Beads have been added to both the inside and outside of the wood to further enhance the overall look of this piece. The inside of both the lid and the box are finished as smooth as the outside. Several coats of Satin Lacquer Finish have been applied to protect the wood.

Beads and texturing have been added to both the inside and outside of the wood to further enhance the overall look of this piece. The inside of both the lid and the box are finished as smooth as the outside. Several coats of Satin Lacquer Finish have been applied to protect the wood.

Maple Textured Box

This beautiful piece of Maple measures 5 inches diameter by 3 inches tall. The Maple has a nice grain and it is further enhanced by adding texture to the bottom piece of the box. Multiple coats of Satin Lacquer Finish were applied to protect the Maple.
