This is a natural edge box elder bowl that has a lot of flaming red character. The natural edge compliments the already spectacular wood grain. This bowl measures 6 1/2″ by 15 1/4″. Several coats of lacquer finish were applied to protect the the wood.

This is a 9 inch by 14 inch Birch Bowl with a Natural Edge. The grain in this piece is spectacular with a lot of character. The Natural Edge completes this bowl and gives it that one of a kind look. Several coats of Satin Lacquer Finish have been applied to protect the Birch wood and Natural Edge. Will make a perfect center piece.

Cherry Natural Edge Bowl

This Cherry Natural Edge Bowl measures 9 inches by 12 inches by 5 inches. A beautiful piece of Cherry was turned and further enhanced by keeping the Bark to form a Natural Edge around the rim of the Bowl.. Several coats of Satin Lacquer Finish were applied to protect the Cherry wood. Will make a beautiful Center Piece.

Mulberry Platter with Natural Edge

This is a piece of Mulberry wood which measures 12 inches by 14 1/2 inches, the Bowl and Platter are made from one piece of Mulberry. THe variation of the grain and the Natural Edge make this platter unique and one of a kind. Several coats of Satin Lacquer Finish were applied to protect the wood. Whether on a stand or hanging on a wall, this piece will definitely be a conversation piece.

Choke Cherry Platter with Natural Edge

This Platter measures 12 1/2 inches by 13 inches by 2 inches. The spectacular grain of the Choke Cherry is very prominent both on the front and back of the Platter. The front of the Platter is textured both in Concentric Circles and Radially. The Bowl section is Beaded and a transparent Bordeaux dye applied. Concentric Coves were turned on the back of the Platter. The arched design and the Natural Edge Bark makes this Platter one of a kind. Several coats of Satin Lacquer Finish were applied to protect this beauty. This is definitely a conversation piece.

Choke Cherry Disk

This 9 inch diameter Choke Cherry Disk incorporates a Bark Inclusion which further adds character to this unique piece. A process called Lichtenberg is used to create this random burnt design. A Medallion is also added to complete this piece. The dish is mounted on a base with two brass rods. Several coats of Satin Lacquer Finish have been applied to protect the wood and embellishments. Definitely a conversation piece.

Natural Edge Sycamore Sculpture

A beautiful piece of Natural Edge Sycamore was selected for this sculpture. It measures 8 1/2 inches by 10 1/2 inches by 1/1/2 inches thick. After turning the wood and the different dyes applied, pyrography was used on the ruby colored area and the outer rim was textured. This area was further enhanced with the application of green metal paint and embellished with bronze gilt cream. Coves were turned on the back side of the sculpture to finish this piece. Multiple coats of a Satin Lacquer finish were applied to protect the wood, dyes and embellishments.

This Figured Box Elder bowl is a beauty and further enhanced with the natural edge. Various insect entry holes give this already beautiful bowl more character. The dimensions are 9 inches by 9 1/2 inches by 4 inches tall. Multiple coats of Ultraviolet protection finish were applied to protect the wood.

This is a highly figured Box Elder Bowl and I kept the Natural Edge to further compliment the beauty of this wood. The Box Elder Flame and quilting is prevalent all over this one of kind bowl. A lacquer finish was applied to protect and enhance the wood. This bowl measures 11 1/2 inches by 12 inches by 6 inches tall and will definitely be a conversation piece at the dinner table.

This Highly Figured Walnut Bowl has a Natural Edge that makes it one of a kind. It measures 11 inches by 15 inches by 3 1/2 inches tall. Also included are 5 wooden spheres that I hand turned from different woods, Walnut, Maple, Cherry Burl and Choke Cherry. Multiple coats of Lacquer have been applied to protect and enhance the beautiful grain and Natural Edge. This combination is a perfect setup for a center piece which will definitely be a conversation piece.
