Figured Walnut Bowl with a Spalted Maple Lid and a Pyrographed Celtic Knot.

A unique bowl with a lid. The bottom is made from a beautiful piece of highly figured walnut and the top is made from a piece of spalted maple. This box measures 9 inches in diameter by 5 inches tall. A celtic knot was designed and hand burned on the lid which fits in a recess on the bowl. Multiple coats of lacquer were applied to protect the wood and the embellishments. The bottom of the bowl is signed by me and also the type of wood used. This is definitely a conversation piece whether displayed on its own or a collection.

Textured Cherry Vase with Iridescent Paints and Finial

This is a beautiful vase made from Cherry wood and was hollowed out to approximately 1/4″ wall thickness. This vase measures 5 inches in diameter by 11 inches tall. After the vase was turned, shaped and sanded both inside and outside, the outside was textured and painted with black lacquer. The colored portion of the vase was textured using pyrography method and iridescent paints were applied to make this texturing pop. A delicate finial, which is removable, was added to further enhance the beauty of this piece. Multiple coats of lacquer were applied to protect the wood and the paints. Whether displayed at home or given as a gift for a wedding, friend or a house warming, this vase will definitely make a statement.

Box Elder Bowl with Natural Edge

This is a natural edge box elder bowl that has a lot of flaming red character. The natural edge compliments the already spectacular wood grain. This bowl measures 6 1/2″ by 15 1/4″. Several coats of lacquer finish were applied to protect the the wood.

This is a beautiful large figured Maple bowl with a natural edge and measures 6 1/4 inches by 16 inches. The size, grain figure and shape in this bowl are spectacular, unique and one of a kind. I was able to keep the wood grain pattern in the middle of the bowl which further enhanced the overlook shape and design. This will definitely be a conversation piece whether shown in the middle of a kitchen table or displayed on its own. I signed the bottom of the bowl which also features the spices of wood used. Several coats of lacquer finish were applied to preserve the wood and bark.

This is a Christmas Tree Globe ornament. The Globe measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter and the overall length is approximately 7 1/2 inches. The Christmas Tree is set in a snow scenario and multiple coats of Satin Lacquer Finish are applied. These ornaments can be displayed on a stand, as shown, or hanging on a Christmas Tree.
