This is a 14 1/4 inch Birch Platter. The grain variation on this platter makes it one of a kind. A decorative bead separates the rim from the bowl, which is also undercut for that distinctive look. The backside of the platter has an ogee shape to further enhance this platter. Multiple coats of Satin Lacquer have been applied to protect the wood. Definitely a conversation piece whether displayed on a stand or hanging on a wall.
