Textured and Painted Cherry Vase

This Cherry Vase measures 5 1/2 inches by 8 1/4 inches tall. The top part of the vase was pyrographed, Black Gessoed and several colors of Metallic Acrylic Paints applied. Parts of the Body of the Vase were textured, then coated with Black Gesso and Metallic Paint applied. The black areas were coated with India Ink. This vase is all turned and textured out of one piece. Several coats of Satin Lacquer protect the embellishments and wood. Definitely a conversation piece.
