Sycamore Platter with Metallic Paints

This is a 16 inch Sycamore Platter.  After turning, it was embellished with Metallic Acrylic Paints and further enhanced with a Turquoise Paint that was applied to show the paint going radially from the center out.  The back of the Platter was given an ogee design to complete the platter.  Several coats of Gloss Polyurethane were applied to protect the embellishments and the Sycamore wood.
