This 10 1/2 inches diameter Ash Dish stands supported by two brass rods on a routed base. A Bordeaux dye was used to coat this vase, but still allowing the grain to show through. To further enhanced the grain, a gilt cream wax was added. A textured Medallion adds the highlight to make this piece one of a kind. Several coats of Satin Lacquer Finish have been applied to protect the embellishments and wood. Definitely a conversation piece.
